Job Description
This position is an opportunity to pursue a PhD degree in Nanotechnology and Advanced Materials at Centre of Polymer Systems, Tomas Bata University in Zlin, Czech Republic. The successful candidate will develop advanced nanocomposites with magnetic nanoparticles as well as two-dimensional nanostructures for targeted applications such as microwave absorption / electromagnetic interference shielding. The expected outcome of the project will be to develop lightweight, flexible and high-performance nanocomposites.
Profile
- A master’s degree in materials science, chemistry, physics, nanoscience and nanotechnology, or a similar discipline.
- Strong English communication abilities both in writing and speaking, as well as a readiness to participate in scientific debates and share research results.
- Capability to function efficiently in a multidisciplinary, global research environment.
- Readiness to accept challenges, acquire new methodologies, and contribute to an active academic environment.
