OVERVIEW OF THE JOB
Magnetic materials and numerical electromagnetics are the main areas of study for the Electromechanics research group at Tampere University’s Electrical Engineering Unit in the Faculty of Information Technology and Communication Sciences. In order to expand their knowledge of magnetic materials, computational electromagnetics, transformers, and/or electrical machines, this research group is currently seeking a postdoctoral researcher to join our team.
Qualification
Successful applicants are knowledgeable about transformers and electrical machinery and possess a Ph.D. in electrical engineering, electromagnetics, or a related field.
They can show prior experience related to the tasks they are applying for, and they have the theoretical and practical programming skills.
- Good English language skills
- Ability to independently conduct systematic scientific research
- Ability to work in a team and communicate clearly in a multidisciplinary and international environment
