Description of Job

As part of the project, your primary responsibilities and duties will be to carry out the project’s development of carbon electrode materials for sodium ion batteries. Important responsibilities will include:

  • Development of carbon electrode materials for sodium ion battery
  • Develop highly performing negative electrode materials to promote the advance of sodium ion battery industry
  • Developing innovative preparation methodologies, evaluate the sodium storage performance, and investigate the storage mechanism
  • Domestic collaboration with leading research institutes

Qualification

  • Norwegian PhD degree in Materials, Chemistry, Electrochemistry, Micro- and Nanotechnology, or a related field, or an equivalent foreign degree
  • A solid history of research into the design and production of electrode materials for lithium and sodium batteries
  • Practical knowledge of cell assembly, electrochemical measurements, material synthesis, and material characterization
  • Outstanding English communication abilities, both in writing and speaking
